Francophonie Month is celebrated every year in March, with International Francophonie Day (Journée internationale de la Francophonie) taking place on 20th March. This is a celebration of French language and culture around the globe.
On this occasion, our students took part in activities related to the annual contest organized by the French Ministry of Culture. In groups, they chose a topic from a list of ten selected words connected to the main theme of this year: Air. They linked their topic to a French speaking country and explored a wide variety of cultures.
All presented their research to their classmates in the target language and were happy to learn from each other. They illustrated their work with beautiful and creative displays.
Some students also took part in our French Photo Contest. They took photos on the same topic and presented their work in French. They all impressed our Jury!
