Grade 9
College Counseling and Career Planning
For our 9th graders, we focus on career planning, providing guidance for them to conduct a self-evaluation and self-exploration, aiming at helping each student begin to think about majors and colleges that are most suitable for their academic and personal development goals. We also help them to understand the importance of GPA in college applications, cultivate students' self-learning habits and time management skills. In addition, we offer help in course selection and extracurricular activities scheduling, encouraging students to join various sports, arts and music clubs, competitions, and community services. They will gain a general understanding about studying and living abroad in their first year in high school.
Grade 10
College Counseling Evaluation and Planning
We suggest our sophomores to have their resume ready when entering the 10th Grade, as it helps us better see the students' strength and weaknesses. We, therefore, could make recommendations on how to improve in academic, extracurricular activities, community services, and others appropriately. Based on students' interest and personal preferences, we will provide personalized guidance and planning services, which include, but not limited to course selection, AP courses selection, summer school applications, club selection, standardized tests planning, school application planning, community service and competitions, etc. We will help students understand college application requirements and procedures by taking our college counseling courses and help them to schedule school visits. We will also provide students with various research and academic resources, such as inviting university professors, admission officers, and our alumni for campus visits and give workshops, helping students to get a clear picture of how studying and living abroad look like.
Grade 11
School Research and Pre-application
For juniors, our counselling will focus on school selections, helping students to develop a list of schools that fit them well based on their academic performance, interests, and skillsets. We will get students familiar with admission requirements and application procedures of each school on their list and get them started with the application preparation. If they have not visited the schools on their list yet, we can help them to schedule a campus visit or a virtual campus tour. We will provide students with training in essay writing, and help them to recollect their experiences in academic, daily life, competitions, social activities, community services, and more, to find their true motivations to pursue future studies.
Grade 12
Application Period and Pre-arrival training
In the fall semester of their senior year, we follow closely with each student's college application, to ensure that all students submit their application documents in a timely manner. Our services include assistance with online applications, submitting standardized test scores, sending in transcripts and letters of recommendation, helping with personal statement, checking application status, etc, and we offer interview training as well. In the spring semester, our focus is on pre-departure training, including visa application guidance, college course selection, well exams, college boarding application, campus life workshops and more.
