As members of the Soong Ching Ling Robotics Team, we are thrilled and proud to announce that our Team 84567B was awarded Third Place in the Innovation Star Division and the "Create Award" at the 2023-2024 VEX Robotics Asia Open Competition!

Reflecting on our previous successes, the distinguished team members unanimously acknowledged that this achievement was not only a recognition of our technical prowess but also a testament to our team spirit. Despite facing formidable opponents in both the qualifiers and eliminations, it was our teamwork, cohesion, and trust that enabled us to perform steadily, ultimately securing a commendable and well-earned third place finish.

The VEX Robotics Asia Open Finals were held at the Beijing National Speed Skating Oval. SCLS - International Division fielded three teams—84567AB&C, comprising a total of 15 participants. Engaging in this competition allowed us to deepen our understanding of the significance of maintaining a composed mindset and embracing an expansive perspective while pursuing personal growth.
As a driver for Team 84567C, while celebrating Team B’s achievement, I also set modest goals for my own future in robotics development. Participating in such international events is a rare and invaluable experience. Throughout the preparation process, I was keenly aware of the importance of teamwork. Each member silently contributed in their respective roles, whether in programming, debugging, or controlling the robot during competitions. Everyone was fully dedicated, striving for perfection. Especially noteworthy was our all-female team, who repeatedly refined and adjusted their approach over two years of preparation, finally earning the opportunity to step onto the competition stage and compete alongside robotics enthusiasts from all over Asia.

This pursuit of technical excellence and thirst for success serve as our driving force.
